Now, forgive me if you’re in a part of the world experiencing snow at the moment, but this place was too beautiful not to talk about! We recently visited eco village resort Desa Seni in Bali, one of the most stunning, relaxing and laid back places I’ve been lucky enough to stay at, 5 star service without the fuss – and offering so much more than a high-end corporate hotel chain. The ethos of this place is Gandhi’s teaching – “Be the change you want to see in the world,” which is at the heart of this sustainable community. Accommodation comprises of beautifully carved, authentic wooden houses imported from Java; which sit nestled amongst the luscious gardens. Dedicating 40% of the land to organic farming means 80% of what is served from their restaurant is produced on-site, all of which was great quality, delicious and reasonably priced. There’s also a daily program of yoga & meditation, as well as a treatment spa. Otherwise you can simply lounge around the saltwater lap pool like we did. Bliss…

A few of my Instagram photos too…

Biss! That healthy food looks fantastic too!
